How we rank providers

Our scoring rubric is publicly documented so you can see exactly what drives every ranking on this site.

Every provider receives a 0–5.0 score based on seven weighted criteria. We focus on the factors that affect patient outcomes and financial protection rather than marketing claims or paid placements.

Scoring criteria

Pricing transparency

Weight: 20%

Is full pricing (including post-introductory rates) published before account creation? Hidden or insurance-dependent pricing scores lower.

Billing structure

Weight: 15%

Subscription auto-renewal models receive a lower score than pay-per-order. Cancellation friction (self-serve vs. contact-required) is factored in.

Money-back guarantee

Weight: 15%

Documented, unconditional money-back guarantees score highest. Conditional or no guarantees score lower.

Clinical evaluation

Weight: 15%

Is clinical evaluation included in the base price, or charged as an add-on? Inclusion improves the score.

Support quality

Weight: 10%

U.S.-based, human customer service scores higher than chatbot-first or offshore support.

Shipping

Weight: 10%

Free shipping under 5 business days scores highest. Paid shipping or long lead times reduce the score.

Refill flexibility

Weight: 15%

On-demand refills score higher than mandatory auto-shipments tied to subscription billing.

How we collect data

For each provider we review: published pricing pages, terms of service, refund and cancellation policies, intake-flow walkthroughs, publicly documented pharmacy partnerships, and aggregated public sentiment from independent review platforms (BBB, Trustpilot, Google reviews). Where pricing or policy is not publicly disclosed, we note this as a transparency concern that affects the score.

Conflict of interest

This site participates in commercial partnerships with some providers reviewed. These relationships do not influence rankings — scores are determined by the rubric above before any commercial considerations. Our top-rated provider was selected because it leads the rubric, not the reverse.

Updates

The rubric and rankings are reviewed and updated quarterly. Providers may change their pricing, policies, or service quality at any time. If you spot a discrepancy between this site and a provider's current terms, the provider's terms govern your purchase.
